Dear All,
I would need your help to sort out this problem. I need to simulate the flow through a porous heat exhanger (cellZone) with rhoSimpleFoam. I would like to add a source term (only to this cellZone) to the energy equation (field h) so that depends on the local velocity magnitude. Specific power [W/m3] = knowValue *magU I tried to use scalarCodedSource in fvOptions but I couldn't make it to work because I'm running on a cluster and the run time compilation of the library doesn't seem to be supported (I got this error: Cannot read (NFS mounted) library). Does anybody can help me out with this? I would really appreciate any help. Best regards Marco |

I had this issue and by setting fileModificationChecking in $FOAM_ETC/controlDict to inotifyMaster, the problem was resolved.
