Hello everyone i am solving the gas flow using dsmcfoam solver in openfoam. My case is based upon the pressure relation at the inlet amd outlet and accordingly the values(macroscopic properties)are to be calculated.I am unable to find tge pressure file in dsmcfoam tutorials files. Can the pressure type solution be solved in dsmc solver? Can anyone help me?

Hi Vignesh,
in the official dsmcFoam version pressure boundary conditions do not exist yet. There is a group in UK who included these kind of boundary conditions in OF2.4. Their code is on: https://github.com/MicroNanoFlows/OpenFOAM-2.4.0-MNF They changed the structure of BCs, so that it is not directly transferable to the official OpenFoam. You have to install their version. The BCs they offer are in https://github.com/MicroNanoFlows/Op...eralBoundaries Also their case structure is different from the official version. |
