Simulation of indirect injection diesel engine in OpenFOAM

Hi all,
I am new to OpenFOAM community, so please bear with me. \
I am trying to simulate diesel engine in OpenFOAM. In the learning process, I learnt that I need to somehow combine engineFoam and sprayFoam solvers for my purpose ( I am still in process).
My main problem now is, I have indirect injection turbo charged diesel engine in my lab. Is the process of simulation still be the same or there are some modifications necessary??

Hello.
This is very interesting thread! Unfortunately I think it will be extremely hard to do.
I am also very interested in all engine simulations and best I found (about diesel) so far is "scania tutorial case" for openFoam-1.6ext. Where there is direct injection and moving mesh. The case contains about 1/8 of entire combustion chamber and it took me few days to simulate 2 degree of crankshaft rotation so I gave up.

Another part is topological changes around valves and piston. Till now I successfully simulate 2D coldflow in sonicTurbDyMEngineFoam:

I cannot succeed even in 3D coldflow with topological changes.

It would be great if You share Your case when You'll go further than me.
