Hello all,
I went from 2.3.x to 5.x and have to say it is much better. In chtMultiRegionFoam everything is more stable. Two points that are open after case conversation: 1. How to get output of function-objects into the log. In 2.3.x I had "log yes;" as an option in the configuration file but this does not seem to work anymore. 2. Are nonOrthogonalCorrectors still supported by chtMultiRegionFoam? I have the parameters set to 3 for my solids (makes them converge faster), but the solver only does one iteration? |

Hi,
1. https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...nctionObject.H. "log yes;" should still do the trick. Maybe you add to to wrong dictionary. 2. https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...MPLEControls.H. nNonOrthogonalCorrectors setting is still there. |

I am struggling with my "flowPatchRate"-types. These are no longer available and I switched to a surfaceFieldValue operation "sum". So this is now a "packed" functionObject and I don't have too much experience with that. It is basically working but "log" does not seem to work. Quote:

Also solved, thanks. Looking into the header file helped me to figure out what parameters are required.
One more question: Is there a easy way to make a function object write out every time-step without explicitly needing to specify them? |

Unfortunately I was not able to grasp meaning of the last question. I could try to guess, but think it would be easier for everybody if you reformulate the question.
