Hi all,

I am simulating wave and breakwater interactions. I was wondering if it is feasible in OpenFOAM to use laminar solver at the front and back of the domain and RANS solver only in the middle of the domain containing the breakwater? There is spurious wave energy dissipation using RANS only for the whole domain, while the laminar cannot capture the turbulence behavior near the breakwater.

Anyone knows how to combine these two solves in one model?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
