Dear Foamers
I need your help regarding a basic thing. In order to simulate reacting flows (combustion) suppose with rectingFoam, in the thermophysical properties, what is the difference between the use of sensibleEnthalpy and absoluteEnthalpy. According to the manual, for chemistry, I dont understand why sensibleEnthapy is more appropriate, rather why not absoluteEnthalpy not appropriate which takes into account the heat of formations of species as well?? I would highly appreciate if someone PLEASE help me to figure it out. Thanks |
