Hi all,
I've been struggling with a interFOAM case for two weeks now. It is basically tank that is partially filled with water. I made about 60 different meshes (finer and coarser meshes in all directions) but only one seems to run stable (read: the velocity stays zero as it should). For the other cases the interface starts showing high parasitic currents (pictures). I tried a lot of schemes and solvers but it looks like problem is the mesh. Can anybody explain me what I'm missing here, both meshes are very similar (all meshes I tried were very similar) but have very different results Both cases can be found at https://1drv.ms/f/s!AjtgbxIopt9chJJq8-APpouwj31bQQ I use OF4 atm but OF3 also gives the same results Last edited by bramDeJaegher; February 1, 2017 at 04:39. |
