Hi all,
I'm modelling a 2D (Plane stress) cantiliver beam in OpenFOAM with a rigid appendix, loaded with an end point load. My problem is insert the rigid appendix at the end. Because I tried using a multiMaterial property with high Elastic modulus for the rigid part, but this is very expensive from a computational point of view. So... How can I do it? Now I'm using stressFoam, but every OpenFOAM structural solver is ok for me. Thanks. |

Is there something you are don't understanding?
Please help me... it takes more than one day to resolve, but is a slightly coarse mesh! |
