Hello Dear Foamers,
I am trying to simulate a viscoelastic fluid which passes in-between two cylinders. The cylinders along with rotation will also undergo latitudinal movement/latitudinal oscillations. Now I have three plots of this fluid obtained from Rheometer viz; Shear modulus vs deformation (from amplitude test), Shear modulus vs angular frequency (from frequency test) and Viscosity vs shear rate (from rotation test). As far as I have understood, viscoelasticfluidFOAM models do not have provision to include G' (shear storage modulus) and G" (shear loss modulus) which altogether makes up G (shear modulus). Can someone tell me how I could implement this in viscoelasticFOAM??! Or, if I have understood the viscoelasticfluidFOAM models wrongly and G is readily implemented in the model, would you guys be kind enough to inform about it please? Any help/suggestion would be greatly appreciated. From already existing posts/threads I could not figure this out clearly and hence I have started a new thread. Disclaimer: I am very new to viscoelastic fluids and rheometry and OpenFOAM programming/programming in general is not my strong point either. Thanks in advance Nagesh |
