Hi, I just installed foam extend 3.2 in windows based on the instructions given.
I then try to run the cavity example. After running blockMesh, I run icoFoam but I got the error: Unknown asymmetric matrix solver BiCGStab Valid asymmetric matrix solvers are : 4 ( BICCG GAMG PBiCG smoothSolver ) file: C:/MinGW/msys/1.0/home/User/foam/User-4.0/run/tutorials/incompressible/icoFoam/cavity/system/fvSolution::solvers::U from line 29 to line 32. From function lduSolver::New in file matrices/lduMatrix/lduMatrix/lduMatrixSolver.C at line 111. FOAM exiting However, I ran this example before on Linux and it was running fine. I changed the solver to BICCG and it worked. But there must be something wrong with the installation. Can anyone help? Btw, I just realised that although I downloaded v3.2 thru: git clone --branch nextRelease git://git.code.sf.net/p/foam-extend/foam-extend-3.2 but I had to install into foam-extend-4.0 to make it work. I'm not sure if that matters. |
