Dam break with gate lifting

Could you please advise me how to simulate 2d laminar dam break with gate lifting?
The question is basically the same as here http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...technique.html But I do not pose any restrictions - dynamic mesh can be used if it does the job. Any help is appreciated
