Dear All,
I am trying to run interFoam on a mesh with unstructured mixed elements. I've also created a hex mesh of the same geometry. The thing is that interFoam runs on hex meshes but not on unstructured mixed meshes. Has anyone seen a similar behaviour? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Andrei |

Can you give more information about your cases?
Outputs of checkMesh for both meshes would be nice. And what exactly do you mean with "not running"? Does it fail to start the simulation? Does it diverge? --> log files are needed Especially the interFoam solvers are very very picky about cell orthogonality. |

Hi TobM! Thanks for replying. I've attached the test case. I am interested to apply FOAM on much more complex geometries. This is just a simple box with mixed elements. The test case is located
