Hi everyone!
First of all I would like to say hello to everyone here, this forum was really helpful for me for a long time. But know I faced an issue for which I couldn't find a good answer here. I'm curious if it's possible in OpenFoam 3.0 to define multiple particle timesteps for one liquid phase timestep. Is there any ready utility to do that, or I would have to implement it myself? If latter, had anyone any experience with that? The reason I ask about that is the problem with the convergence of my lagranian particle tracking solver (with basicKinematicCollidingCloud). I think it might stem from the fact, that I use a large Co (around 3-5), because I need to resolve dozens of seconds for my flow... I think resolving particles more often than liquid phase could significally improve convergence. If this topic was already discussed (and I overlooked it looking for that), I am really sorry! Please just send a link for that. Best regards! Piotr |
