Hi! I would like to average just one component of the velocity field at a particular slice. By now, what I have achieved so far is:

Slice-->IntegrateVariables and then Cell Data, but the average U is the whole magnitude, not just the x component.

I have the X component selected on the slice, but anyway it does the averaging of the whole U field with its 3 components.

BTW, I'm visualising the Cell Data results because I want to take into account the cell size in the computation of the mean velocity, is that right?

Thanks in advance!

Max.

Hi Max,

You can first chose Ux or Uy in calcuator and then use of integratevariable.
