Calculating Pressure Los coefficient in ControlDict

I am running OpenFoam ext-3.2
I have a compressor stage (rotor + stator) and I would like to calculate the mass averaged loss coefficient during the simulation in order to have a good check for convergence. The coefficient I am using is defined as where the double integration is carried out over the outlet patch of my geometry. is the axial velocity at the exit, denote stagnation pressures at inlet, outlet respectively, and static pressures at the outlet. I want to calculate this quantity at each point in my solution iteration, as one does with force coefficients in the controlDict file in some of the tutorials. But im not sure how to carry out the double integration and how to find the static and stagnation quantities. For reference I am using the MRF simpleFoam solver and my simulation is therefore incompressible. Any help would be much appreciated. |
