Hi
I am an absolute beginner to OpenFOAM. I tried running this snappyHexMesh tutorial which was run on version 2.3. I tried running it on version 3.0.1 http://calumdouglas.ch/openfoam-tuto...comment-169285 I tried running the same example, using the exact same instructions as given in the attached file using OpenFOAM 3.0.1 but got some errors. Do we need to follow any different instructions while using 3.0.1? This is the error I got ************************************************** ****************************** Unknown TurbulenceModel type RASModel************************************************** ****************************** I find it peculiar that it is searching for the C file in my home directory but OpenFOAM is installed in root. Is this the cause of error? On changing the constant/turbulenceProperties file to laminar, I still get an error ************************************************** ***************************** Selecting incompressible transport model Newtonian************************************************** **************************** Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
