I bought a license for simFlow. I have been trying for almost 6 months to figure out how to get an airfoil to run through it and actually get correct results. I asked for help and they told me I would need to pay them more money to order a "support package". This is getting ridiculous because I tried everything and have finally broken down to posting here. I have run tens of airfoils at various angles of attack and gotten right about the same lift-to-drag ratios. Always between 10 and 15. Even when I use an airfoil and angle that should be well over 100. Doesn't matter what speed or anything, it's always an L/D of 10-15. If you go to https://sim-flow.com/docs/tutorials:car , you'll find a tutorial on how to run the Lift and Drag on a car. Should be the same for a wing right? I've tried tons of different ways but this seems the most likely to give me proper results, so this is my main focus. However, L/D comes back again at 10-15 when it should be over 100. The 2D L/D for one of these conditions in Xfoil is 195. In no way should it come back as 14.3. Anybody see any problems with this tutorial that would give me wrong results for an airfoil? Please help because I'm getting desperate.
