Hi All,

I would like to define a premixed gas region in a domain using XiFoam.

Please let me know if you are able to define a gas region in XiFoam using setFields.

Thanks,
Pierluigi

I did as follow:

- Set ft on the domain,
- in thermophysicalProperties the thermoType should be inhomogeneousMixture,
- then fuel, oxidant, and burntPruduct should be defined as shown in the PDRFoam tutorial,
- remove equivalenceRatio from combustionPropeties,
- furthermore in fvSolution the equation for ft should be added.

It works; the analysis goes and qualitative results looks OK.
Any comments?

Pierluigi

PS
What is the difference between inhomogeneousMixture and veryInhomogeneousMixture?
