I want to investigate the flow of water and ions through carbon nanotubes in the presence of electrical field using OpenFOAM solvers. I thought that dsmcFOAM solver is appropriate. however, as I searched in published papers, the researchers generally use mdFOAM solver. Could you please guide me in this regard? What is the appropriate solver (which uses the molecular dynamics simulation) in OpenFOAM for solving the flow field in carbon nanotubes?
