Hello,
I am really new to OpenFOAM. After installing, I tried to run the cylinder case in tutorials/basic/potentialFoam/cylinder. The blockMesh part went well, but after icoMesh command, the terminal showed: Create time Create mesh for time = 0 --> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: keyword PISO is undefined in dictionary "/home/xie/OpenFOAM/xie-3.0.1/run/tutorials/basic/potentialFoam/cylinder/system/fvSolution" file: /home/xie/OpenFOAM/xie-3.0.1/run/tutorials/basic/potentialFoam/cylinder/system/fvSolution from line 22 to line 41. From function dictionary::subDict(const word& keyword) const in file db/dictionary/dictionary.C at line 648. FOAM exiting I have no idea why this is happening. I would appreciate any help. PS: My Ubuntu are totally newly installed. No software has been installed before OpenFOAM. Also, the case cavity went well without any problem. I do not understand why cylinder case is different. |
