Why does potentialFoam not accept a region input?

I'm using a modified potentialFoam to initialize a large case with two fluid regions. The original potentialFoam doesn't accept a -region option, so I had to add that. Why does it not? Is there a simple reason for this or is the solver just so basic that the OF crew thought "well if people use chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam, they'll know how to adapt potentialFoam to their needs"?
Modifying (in OF 2.3.1 ) potentialFoam to accept a -region option was trivial, though. Regards Christoph |

I am interested in your modified potentialFoam because I also need a solver like that. Could you share it here? I would be very grateful if you do that. Best regard, Huynh |

I also have the same problem. How/what to modify potentialFoam to read region?
