I am relatively new to OpenFoam. I am trying to simulate air and snow flakes flow around and (through) a fence using the "twoPhaseEulerFoam" solver. I want to introduce a certain amount of porosity to the fence, so air can flow through it. I spent many hours trying to understand the difference between the "damBreak" and "damBreakPorousBaffle" cases. But even in their results I do not see what I want.
I do not understand the usage of the "topoSetDict" and the "createBafflesDict" in the "damBreakPorousBaffle" case. I saw many threads referring to the same files in the "chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam", but still very confused about their use in the dambreak case. Can anyone explain to me how to introduce the fence porosity in openFoam and/or the usage of the aforementioned files. Thanks in Advance Mahmoud |
