Hello
I have a problem in the mesh refinement. I have a gas-liquid annular flow. the interface between the two fluids is thick (large), I want to reduce that by refining the mesh interface (r = 1e-3 micon) in this part of the canal, unfortunately when I refine my mesh I have a solution that does no physical sense !!!!!! I say do, help me please!!!!!!!! thank you |

It is probably caused due to spurious currents. This is a severe problem with interfoam. Some researchers says after a certain level of mesh refinement, the impact of these currents increase in which case the results get worser. That could be the case probably.

thank you
is what's in interFoam another method for localization of the interface, which is more accurate. Lyna |
