Hi Foamers
I am wondering if its possible to do some kind of nesting in OpenFoam For instance, i have two simulation cases, i want the output of simulation one being the input for the second simulation, saying the values from the last cross section in the first simulation be the value of the first cross section in the second simulation, while all the rest the cells of the second simulation remains zero. Is there any way of doing it? Many Thanks |

mapFields would be the thing to look at.
It does not work very well though, esp. on parallized cases. So if you case is not too large you can reconstruct it and map it to another reconstructed case. |
