Hello Foamers,
I hope that you all are well. I have quick question about simpleFoam. I have made a mesh that fits an inviscid case, but the issue how can I use simpleFoam as an inviscid solver. I am hoping if someone has tried running simpleFoam as inviscid solver find sometime to guide me. Thanks in advance, Tareq |

In theory, you would only have to provide a "zero" value to the kinematic viscosity (which would effectively nil the viscous terms). For posterity, then you would set all wall boundaries to "slip" condition.
In practice, I have tried this. For various reasons this does not work too well with any of the viscous solvers. As stated above, you are much better off using potentialFoam. |
