Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding pressure and velocity boundary conditions. I have a case where there are two channels separated by a membrane. I know the applied pressure to the inlets and the initial flow rates. So, I set the pressure inlet BC to total pressure where p0 is the applied pressure, and I used swak4foam to set a parabolic inlet velocity with the average velocity from the known flow rate. So, my big question is how should I set appropriate outlet BCs for pressure and velocity? I wanted to set the pressure outlet to fixedValue and say the value is $internalField, but when I did that I got an error saying that "compound has already been transferred from token" and I have not been able to even figure out what that error means. So, any suggestions on appropriate BCs? Thankyou for replying in advance Lori |
