Dear,
Someone of you has experience in the implementation of the technique for turbulent flows DES (Detached Eddy Simulations) in OpenFOAM. I wonder if anyone of you have implemented the code in an application. And if this can be implemented to perform simulations with applications in rivers or canals. We will implement this technique in OpenFOAM for simulacione in rivers. If you have experience in the development and implementation of technical codes in OpenFOAM please feel free to leave us your email. I am not an expert in DES but I think the model which you want to implement is already in OpenFOAM or something very similar. Maybe I could not understand clearly your project objective. You can check SpalartAllmarasDDES and SpalartAllmarasIDDES in OF
