Hello,
I am modeling a tidal turbine using AMI approach, pympleDyMFoam solver and "libsixDoFRigidBodyMotion" library in the dynamic mesh dictionary. I would like to have the axial power of the turbine, torque and rotational speed as the output. I tried to use Sig Turbomachinery Library for that purpose from https://github.com/wyldckat/OSIG-Tur...formance-OF2.x However, I was not successful as it seems that this library is designed to work with the constant rotational speed ("omega") which is not the case in my model as the turbine is deriven by the flow and the rotational speed is variable base on the water velocity. When I run the model using Sig Turbomachinery Library the turboPerformance.dat file is generated but it is empty. Also the model only work if "Uname Uabs" and not with "Uname U". I appreciate your help in advance. Best Regards, Vahid |
