Hello,

i have a problem which i'm interested to solve within OF.

I have a tank domain in which a rotating disc is sitting. The tank is filled with water completly. The rotating discs functions as an aeration for the water. So i want to apply a pressure inlet to the connected disc shaft which then releases small air bubbles through the disc into the tank.

I want to model the disc as a membrane (porous medium) so i don't have to model each small hole in the disc.

Would this kind of problem be possible to solve with any kind of OF solver or would i need prop. software? I hope i described my problem good enough.

Thanks!
