Hi everybody,
I'm getting some issue to run interFoam correctly. I'm working on the estimation of forces on a catamaran barge. The idea is to estimate the force in "x" and "z" on the hull in function of Froude Number and the incoming direction of the current. There is no wave, only current. To be able to change the incoming current direction, my computational fluid is cylindrical (see CF). The main issue is that the water level is decreasing with in the domain. (see free surface 1 and 2). I guess it's an issue with the pressure boundary condition but I do not manage to find where. I read a couple of others thread but nothing seem to work. Did anyone have an idea to solve the issue? When I run a wigley case in a flume with these boundary conditions, water level does not decrease like that. I also attached my 0 folder, the schemes and fvsolution. thank, Pierre CF.jpg frees_surface2.jpg free-surface.jpg 0.zip.zip fvSchemes-fvsolution.zip |
