Hello,
I am running simulations using reactingParcelFilmFoam. It seems quite strange for me that in tutorials it is assumed that velocity on the contact line of main flow field and wall film is fixed and equal zero (https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...lFilmRegion/Uf). I know that not whole wall film region area is covered by e.g water so it is somehow reasonable to assume zero value. What do you think about that boundary condition? Do you think that would it be appropriate to assume little thickness of water film initially and set slip condition on the contact line? Regards, Tom |
