hello
I have a question on turbulence kinetic energy at wall. when we use no-slip boundary conditon at wall, the velocity at wall is set to zero. So velocity fluctuation is also zero because velocity is zero at the wall. However TKE from openfoam has some value at the wall where velocity is set to zero (no-slip). When I looked the value of TKE at wall using paraview, it is same to the value at cell centroid. i used kqRWallFunction for k at solid wall. it may use zerogradient. why zerogradient is applied for wall condition? |
