Hi all,
I have generated a mesh with snappy to simulate a HAWT using rotorDiskSource. OF2.3.x There is not prismatic layers around the walls. When using slip condition at the walls, the simulation runs as expected ( with slip), but when using fixedValue for U and zeroGradient for pressure the simulation crashes. Firstly I ran the simulation with turbulence off ( & rotor off), but even in this way the simulation crashes. The pressure over the surfaces goes up to 1e+12, what is not real. Certainly the y+ is too high ( maybe 1000), but could be this point the source of the problem? I can not find where the problem can be located. I am using AMI for interface between disk region and the rest of the mesh. It is the first time I find something like this. Maybe I am quite tired but I do not find the solution.
