Hello!
I am modeling a tank of air with a pipe injecting syrup into it. Alpha1=1 for the syrup. Velocity boundary condition at the far end of the pipe is parabolic. Somehow, values for alpha1 get higher and higher over time, exceeding 1. The flow is fully laminar within the syrup (Reynolds number = 10). Any suggestions? It seems like an instability in the solution of the alpha equation, but I am not sure how to fix this. Attached is the complete case directory for my model. Running OpenFOAM 2.2, on CentOS 6. Thanks! Hi Einat
have you ever solved this issue? My alpha is increasing to 400 + within 2 time steps. Kind regards Evelyn |
