Dear foamers,
I am writing since I do have a problem with the twoPhaseEulerFoam solver. I do have a very simple problem: two cylinders (one inside the other), with a flow of water + air bubble beetween them. I am attaching my case. The questions are: 1. how can I take into account pressure? I mean: let's say that I want a fraction volume of air alphaAir = 0.2, this means that I have to fix pressure to 2 bars (otherwise air bubbles "escapes"). I would like to fix a pressure of 2 bars inside the domain. How can I get this? 2. looking at the solution that I get, even tough I fix alphaAir = 0.1 at the inlet (fixedValue), after few seconds the air fraction is 0.02 almost everywhere. Why this happens? Could you have a look at the case? Thank in advance for help, Samuele |
