Hi!
To compare my VOF results of a deforming water droplet with a rigid droplet, I would like to keep using interfoam. Is there a way to set the velocity of one phase to zero, like in Code:
forAll(mesh.cells(),celli) { if(alpha1[celli]>0.0) { U[celli]==vector::zero; } } Unfortunately, this does not work, neither does an artificially high viscosity to simulate a rigid body. There is a high chance that this is my fault, so any help would be really appreciated! |

Hi!
I'm having a similar problem: I added a temperature field to the solver and want to change the viscosity of the "water" phase depending on the temperature in each cell. I thus need access to the viscosity field... What I figured out until now is this: "twoPhaseProperties.nu()" returns the final viscosity field for each cell... I didn't manage to get access to the initial viscosity fields though. All of this "unfortunately" is embedded in the incompressibleTwoPhaseMixture model. I really don't know much of this entire system that's being used for handling the phases so is there a way to get access to the respecitve fields and change them for each cell? Or with that said do functions which give access to those fields exist? I think the fields were created as protected objects inside the respective class so I won't be able to simply edit them in my solver routine... It would be nice if someone who's a bit more familiar with this phase model could help us out here... |
