Hi,

for calculating a falling sphere in a moving reference frame with interFoam, I added a momentum source in UEqn as seen in http://powerlab.fsb.hr/ped/kturbo/Op...chePhD2002.pdf

The term I added in the LHS of UEqn looks like

+ accelerationSphere*rho

It is mentioned, that a similar work around should be done with the transport equation of the volume fraction, could anyone give me a hint on how to manage this?

Is the frame acceleration taken into account, when the alphaEqn is solved or do I have to adjust it manually?
Do I have do change phi to make it relative, like MRFinterFoam does?

regards

Martin

Edit: Additional question, how could I consider the frame Velocity and Position in to the alphaEqn?
