Hello,
starting a calculation with the kOmegaSST model in Foam-extend-3.1 leads to the followign error: Selecting incompressible transport model Newtonian Selecting RAS turbulence model mykOmegaSSTSAS --> Upgrading k to employ run-time selectable wall functions Backup original k to k.old Writing updated k --> Upgrading omega to employ run-time selectable wall functions Backup original omega to omega.old Writing updated omega --> Creating nut to employ run-time selectable wall functions Writing new nut Floating point exception On the other hand, calculations with kOmega and kEpsilon work! Has anyone experiences with this problem? Regards, Markus |

Smells like a bug - can you share the case? I'd like to have a look.

Hello,
I have used kOmega SST with simpleFoam on foam-extend-3.1 without any problems. It rewrites the turbulence related files (k, omega, nut) to the new format, and the simulations run as expected. Maybe there is some other factor playing a role in your case. Philippose |
