Hi all,
I'm simulating a fluid-solid heat transfer system with chtMultiRegionSimpleFOAM. I would like to make the solid part porous with an openness of 4%, which means 4% of void volume where the fluid can flow. The problem is that I only see laws like the DarcyForchheimer law available, whereas I only want to use the openness parameter. Has anyone already come it? Thanks Gennaro |

Hi gennaro
I work with chtmultiRegionSimpleFoam too. I want to make my solid part porous. But i do not know how i should do it.Pleas tell me how did you make your solid part porous? Regards Zahra |

Hi Zahraa,
Porosity can be implemented in my case (still liquid) by weigh-averaging the thermal conductivities of the two materials accordingly. Kind regards Gennaro |
