Hi everybody,

I am quite new to OpenFoam.
I am using the dieselEngineFoam solver in OpenFoam 1.7 to model a diesel spray : so eulerian approach for the air and lagrangian approach for the liquid particles (droplets).
I know that the solver calculates the behaviour of sets of particles named parcels but I don't understand where in the code is made explicit the difference between particles and parcels : how do we know the number of particles in each parcel for example ?

If somebody could come up with some information about this, it would be a great help.

Thanks.
