Dear All,
I am currently working on using solidParticle class to inject lagrangian particles into my domain and was able to track its position, diameter and velocity as they moves around. I only implement one-way coupling between the particles and the flow field, meaning that the flow field affects the velocity of the particles and not the other way round. However, I found out that the results I got is not correct as I have omitted turbulent dispersion in my case. I found out that the dispersion model is in src/lagrangian/intermediate/submodels and people have implement it together with kinematicParcel library. An example of it can be seen in the link below: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...ble-flows.html As I am still a beginner in openfoam, I am not sure how to implement a dispersion model together with the solidParticle class. Can someone provide some hints on how to go out this problem? If it is not possible to implement in solidParticle class, is there a way to use kinematicParcel class to inject particles and output its diameter, velocity and position for every timestep? I am currently using and improving the case file from alexlupo. The case file can be found in the link below: http://www.openfoam.org/mantisbt/view.php?id=985 Thank you! Regards, Ong |

I have the same problem! I wonder if you have solved this problem?
