Dear Foamers
I am modelling the wind over some waves. For that i am using moveDynamicMesh simpleFoam and pimpleDyMFoam. I am facing some trouble to solve it since the simulation in pimpleDyMFoam have an exploding current number because i think that when the waves appear it create a major instability in my model. For manage that problem here is what i do I first compute the mesh with moveDynamic mesh only then i compute a steady solution with simpleFoam (Which is very stable) for that i copy the 0 folder from moveDynamicMesh then i use pimpleDyMFoam that make again the waves to pop up creating then the instability in my model for that i use mapFields Or it seems that it fail to know that i don't want to make the waves popup but just only make them moving forward. I am out of idea... and i got a feeling that the solution is easy (certainly an option that i don't know) Thank you |
