Dear Foamers,

I have calculated flow around porous cylinder in an open channel with interFoam.
And the boundary condition, mostly the downstream boundary, is from this thread http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...tml#post390371

the result seems ok, but not that good (check the attached picture, the longitudinal velocity along the centreline https://www.dropbox.com/s/g8lfvrc7vo...CenterLine.tif). When I compare it with the experimental result, the recovery of the velocity at the downstream of the cylinder is much lower than the experiments, eg. at x=3m, calculated velocity is about 0.043m/s, but the measured one is 0.07m/s.

The fvSchemes and fvSolution are copied from the damBreak case for the interFoam.

Does anyone have any clue on it? fvSchemes problems? or Turbulence Model ?
Any help will be very appreciated.
