Hi everyone!
im doing a 2phase Flow simulation of propane in an fluid distributor for an evaporator in a compression-chiller-circuit. I know the pressure after the expansion valve(for example 3.5bar) and the massflow for alpha=1 and 0. what i dont know is the pressure at the outlets and thats exactly what i want to calculate. At the moment i've set: U - inlet_gas: type flowRateInletVelocity; massFlowRate constant 0.009; //kg/s U - inlet_liquid: type flowRateInletVelocity; massFlowRate constant 0.021; //kg/s U- outlets: type zeroGradient; but i dont know what to set for the pressure. If i set the pressure of 3.5 bar at inlet and zeroGradient at the outlet, the resolution looks strange... Does anybody know what to do? thanks for reply, Ferdi |

hi everyone!
i figured it out. my problem was the kinematic viscosity, i used , instead of . for decimal separation... greetz FerdiFuchs |
