Hello ppl,
I solved a simple problem using dsmcFOAM solver. Now i need to extract the data out of it. I used the dsmcFieldsCalc to obtain the Pressure temperature and velocities. Now There was a folder named /Post processing Within the post processing folder, i find a forces.dat file. What is this file? I dont understand anything from this file. Can I use that dat file to plot in matlab ?? Help me guys Thanks |

Results can be obtained by running dsmcFieldCalc "OR" adding force functions in the controlDict file (as in wedge15Ma5 tutorial).
The macroscopic(temp/overallT, P,Umean etc.) results are ensemble averaged output. You can edit controlDict force function with with "resetOnOutput off;" for time averaging from initial time (0) "OR" set "resetOnOutput on;" to get for time averaging from a later time ( after a getting steady result). |
