Hi,
I am running openfoam simulation in parallel on a machine using 4 out of 12 processors and thats working nice. Now I just get an other server without any openfoam installation on it. Now I want to run the same simulation on two machines (servers) one with openfoam installation and the other one without openfoam installation using 4 processors from each machine.... can i do this or not and if i can, then please let me know.... thanks. |

Technically a parallel application can only run if the respective software is somehow provided to all of the machines that will be using it. In addition, you better make sure that both machines are running the same architecture, or at least in the lower common architecture, namely both should run in 64 bit or 32 bit. So, there are two possible solutions:
