smsanth is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I am new to openFoam. I am using openfoam 2.2.1 and I am trying to solve the dam break tutorial using compressible air. I am having difficulty in specifying the atmosphere boundary condition for pressure. I found out that I need to change p_rgh as this the parameter which gets solved.

I tried giving psi=psi for this total pressure boundary condition that I give for p_rgh (after seeing some posts about compressible flows) but it gives an error which seems very complicated but it is surely related to total pressure condition.

Can somebody help me regarding how to give this boundary condition so that openFoam solves really compressible,non-isothermal dam break problem.

Thanks and regards,
Santosh
