Hi dear foamers,
I installed OpenFOAM 2.2.0 on a cluster. There is no problem running serial...on the head node. But when I ran it in parallel, the following errors popped out: --> FOAM FATAL ERROR: Trying to use the dummy Pstream library. This dummy library cannot be used in parallel mode From function UPstream::init(int& argc, char**& argv) in file UPstream.C at line 37. FOAM exiting I don't have the same problem when I installed and run OpenFOAM on a local machine. I checked some related threads on this forum....but can't really get it working by using the advice found... I checked the bashrc file in /etc and the mpi environment is set correctly: export WM_MPLIB=OPENMPI I don't understand why OpenFOAM still tried to use the dummy Pstream.... this is really doing my head in.... Can anyone help me out on this? Thank you very much. Regards Callum |
