problem running blockMesh in ubuntu terminal (openfoam)

i am new to ubuntu and openfoam.i was trying to run a compressible simulation . when i tried to run blockMesh of rhoSimplecFoam the follwing errror was shown in terminal window

do you have controlDict File under /system ?

are you running blockMesh in the case directory?
If it is squareBend, then you have to go and run blockMesh in the case directory, ie: cd squareBend

thank you it's working....
can you please tell me what should i use to develop a simulation for studying heat properties of a porous medium in a cylndrical tank ..and yes it is compressible i am working on a project in my college.....so i would be very happy |
