hi everyone.
I've been doing simulations about flow around a circular cylinder at Re=100 recently. The problem is that no matter how I change my mesh fineness, my Cd value is always higher than the accurate one, which is about 1.33. I used air density rho=1.225 and kinematic viscosity nu=1.5e-5. As Re=100 is in the laminar regime, I didn't use any turbulence model. I've changed my mesh many time, hoping that with the refinement of mesh, the drag coefficient would be more accurate. However, the Cd value I'm keep obtaining is always well above 1.4. here I post my case file. http://www.mediafire.com/?3p1lipc9ttae8py would some one help me out of this? thanks in advance!
